“When villagers say they regularly take their dog for a walk through the residential area of Welgelegen, I think to myself ‘mission complete’.”

housing
Welgelegen
From the outset, it was clear to our firm that the inhabitants of Ouddorp, a seaside resort and our home port, needed a residential area that offered space to everyone. The old farm lands of the Breen family were to provide that perfect setting.
Just like the pleasant town centre through which everyone takes a stroll, the new neighbourhood of Welgelegen had to provide an attractive public area for residents and visitors alike. We succeeded by duplicating the typical ribbon development of the original town and by giving our contemporary housing designs features so typical of Ouddorp.
